Important licensing disclosures

Base Windows Server User or Device CALs are not included. Digisoft does not sell ordinary Windows Server User CALs in this bundle. The RDS package supplies additional Remote Desktop Services access licensing only; it does not replace the base CALs needed for Windows Server access. Obtain any required base Windows Server CALs separately.

The OS component covers one server and 16 cores. Extra core coverage may be necessary for servers with more cores or to meet processor licensing minimums. Application licences, additional server OS licences and deployment services are not included. A bundle does not extend any component’s individual licence rights.

Requirements

• Compatible x64 server hardware, supported storage/network drivers, and sufficient RAM and storage for the intended roles and users.
• A correctly configured Remote Desktop Services deployment and an RD Licensing server compatible with Server 2025.
• Required base Windows Server CALs, additional core coverage and any application licences obtained separately.
• A qualified administrator to install the OS, configure RDS roles and licensing mode, apply updates and secure remote access.
• Appropriate activation connectivity or a supported alternative activation method.

Digital delivery and activation

No physical boxes, discs or USB drives are shipped; artwork is illustrative. After payment and provisioning during working hours, each component is delivered with its own applicable activation information and setup guidance. Activate the server OS with its OS key. Install the RDS licence package through Remote Desktop Licensing Manager using the supplied RDS details; an RDS code is not a Windows OS product key.

Does this include 50 ordinary Server User CALs?
No. It includes 50 RDS User CALs plus the stated server OS licence. Base Windows Server CALs must be obtained separately.

Does 50 users mean 50 guaranteed simultaneous sessions?
No. Each RDS User CAL is assigned to an individual user. Performance and session capacity depend on server hardware, applications and deployment design.

Can I use an older RDS CAL package with a newer server?
Do not assume that older RDS CALs licence newer session hosts. This bundle pairs matching versions. Your administrator must also verify licence-server compatibility.

Is installation included?
This bundle supplies software licences. Server deployment, migration and configuration services are not included.
